Hi, I’m Nicky - A Baby And Child Sleep Specialist In London
A baby and child sleep specialist, childcare expert and calm pair of hands when your family needs them most.
For more than 25 years, I have worked closely with babies, children and families. During that time, I have supported parents through many of the joyful, messy, exhausting and emotional realities of family life — including more bedtime battles than I could ever count.
My experience has taught me that children are individuals. What works beautifully for one child may be completely wrong for another, and parents deserve more than a generic routine or a list of rules that does not reflect real family life.
That is why my approach to baby and child sleep support is always personal. I come into your home, meet your child, listen carefully to what you are experiencing and work with your family to create changes that feel gentle, practical and achievable.

Why I believe in in-home sleep support
When I visit you at home, I can see the real picture, where your child sleeps, how your routine unfolds and how everyone responds when things become difficult.
Being there in person also means I can notice the small details that are often hard to explain on a call, answer questions as they arise and help you make changes with confidence.
Most importantly, you are not left to work everything out alone; having an experienced person beside you can make an enormous difference when you are exhausted and unsure what to do next.
I do not believe there is a perfect way to parent, and I do not expect your family to fit into a rigid method.
My role is not to take over or tell you everything you have been doing is wrong.
Instead, I help you understand your child’s sleep, identify what may be getting in the way and make thoughtful changes that support the whole family.
Your child’s age, temperament and emotional needs matter. Your parenting style, family circumstances and goals matter too.
I will never recommend leaving a child to cry alone.

I’ve been in childcare for over 25 years, and for me it has always come down to one thing: I love helping children, and I love helping the families around them.
When I had my own son, Thomas, being a full-time nanny was no longer going to work for our family. I needed to be there for his school pick-ups, not someone else’s. Becoming a sleep consultant meant I could keep doing what I love — helping families through one of the hardest parts of early parenthood — while still being there for Thomas.
I’m a mum and a wife, and probably exactly who you’d expect after chatting with me for five minutes: friendly, a bit chatty and always up for a catch-up with friends and family over a drink.
Right now, our weekends are largely dictated by our ten-year-old, who has decided roller coasters are the greatest invention known to man. So if you don’t hear from me on a Saturday, I’m probably at a theme park somewhere, eyes closed on a white-knuckle ride, quietly repeating, “It’ll be over soon.”
